Fireproof

If you haven't seen it yet...run to the theaters! Ok, maybe you shouldn't run. Maybe you should arrange childcare, plan a nice dinner with your spouse, and then go see it. That's what Brad and I did last Wednesday and it was amazing. This movie is put out by the same people (church) as Facing the Giants. Other than Kirk Cameron (why doesn't he age?), all the actors are volunteers and they really do a great job.

Everyone can benefit from this movie. Whether you've only had one argument throughout the duration of your marriage or if you find yourself at a crossroad not knowing how any piece of your marriage can be salvaged, this movie will speak to you, your heart, and your faith. It's really a great witness of God's love for us and love for healing in our marriages. Watch the trailer below and then go see it! They even offer the Love Dare book, a group bible study, and other awesome literature.

Travis and I went to Fireproof last night and loved it. It spoke to me in both direct and indirect ways. I am reminded of the importance of respecting my husband even in the smallest of points. And it was so nice to be able to sit through a movie with no inappropriate scenes. A must see, I agree.
